Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or play our games, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
Effective date: 24 October 2026
1. Who we are
WayFinder Interactive ("WayFinder", "we", "us") is an independent game development studio. We are responsible (the "controller") for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at any time at privacy@wayfinderinteractive.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- our website at wayfinderinteractive.com (the "Website");
- the mobile and PC games we publish (each a "Game"), including updates and related support; and
- emails and other messages you exchange with us.
Some details differ from game to game, for example which advertising partners a game uses. Those details are listed in Game-specific details at the end of this policy and form part of it.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and inquiry details, such as your name, email address, company and the content of your message, when you email us or use our contact form.
- Support requests, such as your email address, device details, the Game you are playing and any player ID or screenshots you choose to send.
Information collected automatically in our Games
- Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, screen size, app version, and general location (country or region) derived from your IP address.
- Identifiers: IP address, an app-specific or vendor identifier (such as IDFV on iOS or an app instance ID), and, where permitted by your settings and consent, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS or the Google Advertising ID on Android).
- Gameplay and usage data: sessions, levels played, progress, in-game events, settings, and how you interact with ads and offers.
- Diagnostics: crash reports, errors and performance data such as frame rate and loading times.
- Purchase records: which in-app items were bought, when, and the transaction identifiers provided by the app store. We never receive your payment card details.
Our Games do not ask for your name, contacts, photos, microphone or precise (GPS) location unless a specific Game clearly says otherwise.
Information collected automatically on our Website
- Privacy-friendly analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and only gives us aggregated statistics.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested to deliver the Website and protect it from abuse.
The Website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
4. How we use information
We use information only where we have a valid reason (a "legal basis") to do so:
| Purpose | Legal basis (EEA/UK) |
|---|---|
| Running the Games, saving progress and delivering features you ask for | Performance of our contract with you |
| Processing and restoring in-app purchases | Performance of contract |
| Understanding how players use the Games, fixing bugs and improving performance and design | Our legitimate interests in improving our products (and consent where the law requires it) |
| Showing personalised advertising and measuring ad performance | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
| Showing non-personalised (contextual) advertising | Our legitimate interests in funding free-to-play Games |
| Answering inquiries and providing support | Legitimate interests, or steps before entering into a contract |
| Preventing fraud, cheating and abuse, and keeping our services secure | Legitimate interests |
| Meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations | Legal obligation |
We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5. Third-party services
We use trusted providers to run our Games and Website. They process information on our behalf or, for advertising partners, also for their own purposes as described in their privacy policies.
| Service | Purpose | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| GameAnalytics | Game analytics: gameplay events, device information, identifiers and approximate location | gameanalytics.com/privacy |
| Advertising partners | Serving and measuring ads in free-to-play Games. Each Game's partners are listed in Game-specific details | Linked per partner |
| Apple App Store and Google Play | Distributing Games and processing payments for in-app purchases | Apple, Google |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting, security, email forwarding and cookie-free analytics | cloudflare.com/privacypolicy |
6. Advertising and your choices
Some of our Games are free to play and supported by ads. Depending on where you live and the choices you make, ads may be personalised (based on your advertising identifier and activity) or non-personalised (based only on context such as the Game and your general location).
- Consent screen: if you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, or anywhere the law requires it, the Game will ask for your consent before personalised ads or related tracking are used. You can change your choice at any time from the Game's privacy settings.
- Apple devices: we only access your device's advertising identifier if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Android devices: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings › Privacy › Ads (wording varies by device).
If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.
7. In-app purchases
Purchases in our Games are processed entirely by Apple or Google. They handle your payment information under their own privacy policies; we only receive confirmation of the purchase so we can deliver the item and help with restores and support. Refunds are handled by the app store you bought from.
8. When we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only:
- with the service providers and partners described above, under contracts that protect your data;
- with advertising partners, in line with your consent and device settings;
- if required by law, a court order or to protect the rights, safety and security of our players, our studio or others; and
- with a buyer or successor if our studio or a Game is sold, merged or reorganised, in which case this policy will continue to protect your information.
9. Children
Unless a Game's specific details say otherwise, our Games are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, which may be up to 16).
Where a Game may be played by children, we take extra steps such as an age screen, showing only non-personalised and age-appropriate ads, and limiting the data collected, in line with laws such as COPPA in the United States and the GDPR in Europe, as well as Apple and Google policies.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact privacy@wayfinderinteractive.com and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
We and our providers operate around the world, so your information may be processed outside your country, including in countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or our providers' equivalent commitments.
11. How long we keep data
- Inquiries and support emails: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together, in which case we keep business records as long as the law requires.
- Game analytics and diagnostics: only as long as needed to understand and improve our Games, in line with our providers' retention settings, after which data is deleted or anonymised.
- Purchase records: as long as needed to provide purchased items and to meet tax and accounting obligations.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls and choosing providers with strong security practices. No system is completely secure, so please contact us right away if you believe your information has been compromised.
13. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that already happened; and
- opt out of personalised advertising, and of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined by some laws.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@wayfinderinteractive.com. We may need to verify your request, and we will respond within the time required by law (usually within one month). We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
14. Region-specific information

United States, including California
Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws may request access to, correction of and deletion of their personal information. Some ad-related data sharing may count as "selling" or "sharing" under these laws; you can opt out using the in-game privacy settings, your device's advertising settings, or by emailing us. We honour Global Privacy Control signals on our Website where applicable. In the last 12 months, the categories we collected are those listed in section 3, used for the purposes in section 4 and disclosed to the recipients in sections 5 and 8.

Under the LGPD you may confirm processing, access, correct, anonymise, block or delete data, request portability, and obtain information about sharing. Contact us using the details below.
India
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may access, correct and erase your data, withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance with us at privacy@wayfinderinteractive.com.
Other regions
Wherever you live, you can contact us with any privacy request and we will handle it in line with the laws that apply to you.
15. Deleting your data
Our Games do not require an account. To ask us to delete data linked to your device, email privacy@wayfinderinteractive.com with the subject "Data deletion request", the name of the Game and, if shown in the Game's settings, your player ID. We will confirm once your request has been completed. Uninstalling a Game removes the data stored on your device.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our Games, services or the law change. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, let you know in the Game or by other appropriate means.
